Karolina Bufka
Karolina doubts that anyone has lived in more co-ops than she has. As a freshman she moved into Wolf House where she lived for a year and a half, followed by a semester at Kingman and two years at Castro. After graduating from Berkeley with a major in history, Karolina spent time traveling around Asia and living in upstate New York, Europe and all over California while working odd jobs. Some of these jobs brought her back to the Bay Area where she spent summers living at Cloyne and Casa Zimbabwe. Last summer, she happily became a co-oper once again when she moved into the Hillegass-Parker House, where she is living while she completes her Master’s degree in Urban Planning. During her time in the USCA, Karolina has worked as the Development Assistant, HiCom Chair and also held various house-level positions, including Social Manager at Castro where she threw some of the best disco parties this side of the 70s.
