   APPLY FOR FALL 2008 AND BEYOND!

Thank you for your interest in co-op housing! If you decide that you want to apply for co-op housing, you will want to send the following to our office:

     1. The USCA Application form (Need Adobe Acrobat Reader)

     2. Application Deposit
(note that if you are applying for Hillegass Parker or Convent you must also include verification that you are a graduate student or over the age of 25)

You can also get the form emailed or sent by regular mail by contacting us.

How to Submit your Application

  • Bring it into or mail it to our office:

  • Faxing it to (510) 848-2114. Be aware that we cannot process your application until we receive your application deposit, so please include credit card information on your fax, or call us with the information after you fax.


About the Application Deposit:

The application deposit can be paid by:

  • Cash
  • Check (make checks payable to USCA)
  • Credit card (we accept Visa and MasterCard). You can write the credit card number, expiration date and cardholder’s name on your application form.

The application deposit is $60 of which $50 is refundable if you withdraw your application without joining the co-ops.  (We retain a $10 processing fee.)  If you do become a member, the deposit will be credited toward your co-op membership fee.

If you are a UC Berkeley EOP Student, the application fee is reduced to $35 ($25 is refundable).  To be extended EOP status with us, you must include verification from the UC Berkeley EOP office located in room 140 in the Cesar Chavez Student Center on the UC Campus.  The EOP office phone number is (510) 642-7224. If you are a confirmed EOP student and cannot pay the $35, please call our office for information on the Harriett Keyes Loan program.
