What to know about Spring 2008 assignments:
1. We will make the next Spring housing offers after Winter Break (January 8). We anticipate having about 50 openings to offer out then (as previous years have shown).
2. Starting January 8, all offers will be made by email or telephone. Offers will require a response by a specified time. Normally we contact you in the afternoon and give you a deadline of noon the following day to respond. Once you respond, we will then discuss the details of your assignment and set a time by which you will have to give us your decision and/or sign a contract.
3. If you do not respond by the deadline given, you will lose the assignment. If you miss an offer, you can return to the waiting list in your original spot.
4. We will continue making Spring assignments through mid-April.
5. Anyone who is still on the waiting list after the beginning of the semester will be asked to re-confirm their interest in Spring housing so that we can maintain an accurate waiting list.
