 Meat & Cheese Crew Supervisor

Job Description
This person slices luncheon meats and cheeses, packs frozen foods, and packs other cuts of meat according to house orders.  S/he is assisted by a workshift crew, which s/he supervises.  S/he is also responsible for leftovers, freezer organization, sharp knives and inventories.

Requirements
You need to be well organized, responsible, and reliable and able to work well with people in a team situation, as well as supervise. You should be willing to learn basic butchering skills, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. You must be willing to work with cold and frozen items, as well as with raw meat. You should also be able to weigh and count accurately, use sharp instruments safely (good manual dexterity) and work well under pressure. You must be a USCA member to hold this job.

Hours/Pay
This job averages 17 hours/week, compensated with a rent credit of $2510.00 and fulfills your five-hour/week workshift requirement. If you live in the apartments, you’ll be paid cash (at $12.20/hour) equivalent to the 5-workshift hours (it won’t replace your requirement). This job begins immediately and lasts indefinitely, although you would not work during the summer (as CK operates only during the Fall & Spring semesters). This job is eligible for work-study compensation. If, for whatever reason this job begins mid-semester, the compensation will be pro-rated. You can not be on the Board of Directors and hold a Central Level job.
